As a polymath I have the unique experience of having done +60 start-ups and M&A's, excluding +10 large transformation exercises, and 100s of re-engineering and business improvement projects over 3 decades.
Having done a JSE listing from concept to a 45 Million USD company in less than 18 months; setting-up all company structures for a primary and secondary capital market - gave me unique experience to assist executives in managing and building their business.
The one thing that i have learned is that the most important thing for an organisation to discover is its heart beat. Just as heart rate variability tells you about your body- similar does the heart beat of your organisation
As a practical hands-on, ex-CEO and activist shareholder - I assist the organisation to find its heartbeat in its people, brand, operations, and capital, using the medicine of alignment, culture and data.
I only work with clients who allow me to emerge myself into their EXCO, make provision for Board discussions, and allow engagement with operations.
My intervention comes from experience in creating economic value, which is deeply seated in the principles of systems thinking, investment , technology and data.
Business is always about people - culture allows people to challenge, connect and grow into a desirable brand which allows the individual to do more than that they think they can - whilst having fun!
